Goldie Hawn Shines at the 97th Annual Academy Awards
Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell brought their signature charm to the 2025 Oscars red carpet. The longtime couple couldn't stop smiling as they posed together, with Hawn, 79, dazzling in a bright yellow strapless gown, while Russell, 73, looked timeless in a classic tuxedo and bowtie.
Hawn's butter-yellow dress, a standout color of the season, was embellished with jewels and elegantly draped to the floor, featuring subtle ruching at the waist. She added a playful touch by showing off a bare shoulder from behind her matching shawl. Her hair was styled in soft curls, and she kept her accessories simple yet striking, wearing a statement chain-link necklace with two hanging jewels and an 18-carat gold Briony Raymond Retro diamond ring.
An Oscar winner herself — she won Best Supporting Actress in 1970 for Cactus Flower — Hawn took the stage as a presenter alongside Andrew Garfield. The duo, full of energy and laughter during rehearsals, were set to announce the winners of the Animated Feature and Animated Short categories.
Hawn and Russell, who share son Wyatt Russell, as well as Hawn's children Oliver and Kate Hudson from her previous relationship with Bill Hudson and Russell's son Boston from his marriage to Season Hubley, have been together for over 40 years. When asked about the secret to their lasting love, Hawn told E! News at MindUP’s The Goldie Hawn Foundation charity event in September, "You have to have good sex." She explained that intimacy and warmth are vital to maintaining a strong connection.
